Terrorists strike Rennes, hundreds dead

Rennes, New Alexandria; ABCC News – Residents in the outskirts of Rennes, the capital of New Alexandria, were shocked by what seems to be a large series of explosions at the Villa Hermosa Train Station caused by a large scale terrorist attack. The Falange para la Liberacion Indigena , or FLI,claimed responsibility for this attack.

Guerillas from the FLI managed to hijack an ammunition shipment train headed from Encinos to Rennes, with the intention of supplying the nascent Colonial Guards. They proceeded to include large quantities of dynamite as well. The perpetrators of the attack then placed the train on the path to collide with a commuter train carrying close to two hundred and fifty passengers. The train was headed from Le Havre to Rennes. Both trains met at the train station where the collision caused an explosion that destroyed large part of the facility and laid flames to adjacent buildings and houses.

Rennes Police Department, as well as the Colonial Guard, has been deployed at the scene and have begun to conduct an investigation. It is estimated that at least 178 people have died, with several others wounded or missing.
