On the issue of the first item of the agenda, I believe that we should implement an interest rate of 2.5%. Are there any objections?

There are none. The interest rate of the Empire is now set at 2.5%

I wish to bring a new item to the agenda; the creation of the Small Commonwealth Stock Exchange. How shall we react to this?

They are another competitor, as the NYSE is to the LSE. Our interface with them will have to take regard of the fact that the components are simulated.

That makes sense.

Does the IEFC also believe that we need a small Business Registration Fee for any new businesses registering themselves in Alexandria? Or do we think that might drive away businesses?

At the moment, I can see no positive effects, only negative ones. We should set up a Registration Board of the IEFC to oversee company registration.

Does the IEFC have any objections to a business registration form being set up in the SMSE to allow foreign competitors to register?

Are there any issues which the board members wish to discuss regarding the Economy?

Shall we agree to open the markets on Monday 24th May?

I see no reason why not to open the market.

The Stock Exchange still needs some work; the 24th would be an acceptable deadline but I cannot guarantee it.

That's fine Mssr. Ziegler. Inform us when the SMSE is ready to open and the IEFC will declare them open.

Also, does the IEFC have thoughts on this as a business registration form? Do note that approval will be automatic after three days.

VBNC are proud to present the following Investment Prospectus to the Imperial Economic and Finance Committee. In it we present our intended investment division and destinations for your approval. We would like to draw your attention once again to the fact that we will require the password to the Banque du Alexandrie account on the Small Commonwealth Bank to be able to actualise this prospectus. You may of course ask us any queries and request changes, either here or in our forum, and we will do our best to respond to them and fulfil your wishes.

VBNC - For all you'll ever need.

Has the Imperial Economic and Finance Committee had the opportunity to review the prospectus now?

A new government will be appointed in the next few days. I think it would be unwise for the remaining members of the committee to act without them. My apologies!

No problem. I was following Alexandrian affairs enough to know that an election had been conducted but was under the impression that it was already concluded and did not realise that members remained to be appointed. Of course, take the time that you need to sort that first.

I should however warn the committee that I will be unavailable from the 1st of July until the 17th of July due to several real life commitments. As such, I will not be available to answer questions on or implement the proposed prospectus until after that.

My apologies for not keeping up with Alexandrian affairs; but is the committee now ready to review the prospectus?

I've been designated as a sort of point man for the economy at the moment, Mssr Manuel, although there is nothing as yet official about it.

I have looked over the prospectus when it was submitted and it very much impressed me. For now I'd say you have tacit if unofficial approval!

Thanks for that vote of confidence. Whenever you are ready for us to begin investing, we will be delighted to.

Purely as a side matter: did the payment from our contract begin when we first signed; when we first delivered the prospectus; or from when we first invest?
